Who We Are

Welch Strategies is lead by Roz Welch,  a strategic community servant, is a native Louisvillian. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky. Taping into her passion for politics and social action, Rosalind completed the EMERGE program in 2021. During that program she met current State Representative Keturah Herron. In 2022 Roz served as Rep. Herron’s Treasurer and Campaign Director for her special and general elections. In 2023, Roz served as the Field Director for Rep. Pamela Stevenson’s Attorney General Campaign. This historic campaign was the first time a black woman had run for that office. In 2024, she served as Campaign Manager for Joshua Watkins who won a three way race with more than 50% of the vote. She has also consulted on Metro Council, and School Board races.
